Toddler Group
Our Toddler's Room
The toddler room welcomes children aged 2-3 years. At capacity the toddler's room is home to 12 children and 3 educators at a 1:4 ratio.
There is a focus on language development and utilises routine to develop emerging independence. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas provide ample space for this active and adventurous age group to thrive.
Early Learning Program
Our educators provide equipment and toys on open shelving for children's free access and choice. A day in our toddler's room can consist of art, literacy, dance and song, music and language and STEM. Educators develop topics that interest the children and encourage them to observe, explore and discover their world.
Toddler children are supported to develop friendships through small and large group experiences. Learning opportunities are abundant, as they grow their autonomy becoming actively involved in their routines .
Our Environment
We boast a large outdoor play area with all the safety of a playground and the atmosphere of a natural garden. Shaded by tree coverage our outdoor space provides the opportunity for natural exploration of the seasons, birdlife and physical movement and development.
In our indoor space the toddlers' room's are designed for dynamic, growing children, child centred practices, varied learning spaces.
